My truck cranks good and runs good but sometimes after you are going down the road it start to run bad as if you have a gas problem or ingition problems. You can pull over and the engine is not missing and running fine while idleing or if you give gas. If you turn engine off and crank again it will run ok again a little while longer. I changed WIRES,PLUGS.FUEL PUMP,FUEL FILTER. STILL SAME PROBLEM.

When I got home from work today our 1993 Silverado would not shut off as in the ignition switch would not turn. I turned it to the start position for an instant while it was running then I was able to turn it off. Now when I try to start it the gauge lights come on but the engine does not turn over. I'm guessing ignition switch. Anyone else have any ideas? I sure could use your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.

My taurus runs extremely rough at idle and sometimes stalls. OBD test indicates a fuel problem. but as the rpm's drop the brakes get hard as if they were losing vacum. Could this be an actual fuel system problem or could a vacum leak cause the other sensors to read it as a fuel problem?

My 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 6 will not charge. I replaced the alternator and battery and the engine would turn over but would not start. I sprayed starter fluid in it and started just fine, but you have to spray starter fluid every time to get it to start. It still is not charging.

Hi. I recently purchased a 1993 Chev. Cavalier Z24 Convertible and have discovered that it has a slow transmission leak. I've checked all other fluids and they seem fine. I checked the transmission fluid level and need to add some but am unable to see where to add the fluid. Can someone tell me where to fill the transmission fluid for the '93 Cavalier Z24? Thanks. Les

I recently inherited a 1999 Toyota Corolla LE, and neither the owner's manual nor the dipstick gives instructions on checking the transmission fluid. So I checked it while hot and in PARK, after running it through P-R-N-D-1-2 and back again. It showed WAY over full on the dipstick. I am not sure whether my mother unintentionally over-filled it, or I am improperly checking the level. Does anyone know how to properly check the transmission(transaxle?) fluid level in this vehicle? Thanks.

HELP!!!! i have a '96 grand cherokee, 4wd, 4.0 straight six. it'll start and run fine for awhile. all of a sudden it will shut down and will only restart after it sits. sometimes 10min. sometimes hrs. i've ohmed out every sensor i can find, checked fuses, pulled out some hairs. when you turn the key on, all lights illuminate as they should. there is fuel in the rail. it acts as if there is no spark. i put my test leads in the connector to the coil and when you turn the key on, there seems to be momentary power at that point, then the asd relay kicks out. is that normal? if not, what could be causing it? i'm at a loss. i'm starting to think the puter. give me some ideas what to look for.
thank you. jim kemp cleve, ohio

Subject: 2000 blazer altanator went out now fuel pressure low Posted By: gary jonesDate: 5/11/2008 9:49:00 PM

O.K. two years ago i had the fuel pump replaced, then the entire front-end. last month the alternator, battery. now the blazer starts hard. Low fuel pressure (45psi or less when not starting) so starts after about 15 min. off turning over. BUT if i put the on the battery charger on boost it starts right up first try. SO question is if the battery is not the right one for the blazer with enough cranking amps will this send low voltage to the fuel pump cousing the low fuel pressure at start up?

Subject: 1994 Chevy Suburban Brake Lights Posted By: Denny CoauetteDate: 4/9/2008 8:33:00 PM

Hello; My brake lights are not working in my 94 suburban. I have checked all of the fuses, replaced the brake light switch on the pedal and replaced the bulbs. There is an electric brake trailer controller mounted under the dash. If I push the manual slide switch on the controller my brake lights will come on. I also replaced the fuses and circuit breaker in the brake controller circuit. This is driving me crazy. Can anyone help. Also, where is the hazard flasher unit?? I see the turn signal flasher mounted on the small panel forward of the emergency brake pedal, but I don't see the little hazard flasher can anywhere in the vicinity? According to the parts manual there are separate flashers for the turn signal and the hazards...what's the deal? Thank you! Denny denncoa@msn.com

Is it true that all 4.0 Wranglers have timing chains rather than belts. I read that only the 2.5 has a belt. And any website references for instructions on replacing one on a 2001 Sport would be greatly appreciated!
