Subject: 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Dies when RPMs below 1000 Posted By: CANDICE KILGODate: 8/13/2010 8:42:00 PM

My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L V8, not 4x4, will die when the RPMs fall below 1000, such as when coming to a stop at a red light. If I shift into neutral, it does not die. I have had the crankshaft sensor and the throttle position sensor replaced as well as some relay. If it has sat overnight, sometimes, for the first ten or so minutes driving it, it will not die when RPMs fall below 1000, but soon after, it starts acting up again. It was hooked to the computer to see if it threw a code, but nothing showed up and the check engine light is not on either.

I have a 1995 s10 with the 2.2 and 5 speed. I have replaced the entire a/c system (compresser, condenser, and orifice expansion tube). The a/c worked great for about 2 weeks, now the compresser will not come on at all. If I run a hot and ground from the battery the compresser will kick on. Any suggestions?

I am a new member and a problem with my 1985 325e. It starts and runs but, if I depress the gas pedal to far the car will stall. I can drive at about any speed but I have to be gentle getting there. I started after a professional oil change, they say nothing they did. Is anyone out there that can help me?

My girlfriend has a 96 geo prizm and we had the belts changed last september and ever sense they have been changed thier is a high pitch belt noise only when you first start the vehicle and usually for just a short time after. Then the noise goes away. It also makes noise when cold during turns.
What could be the problem?
I've used belt lubes with no change.

I have installed two different transmissions in a 1991 econoline van with a 302 engine and both times it will go into gear but not shift out of 1st. After two different transmissions I am led to believe it is not the transmission but something maybe electrical, like maybe a sensor that is not communicating with the transmission.....Any ideas or advise?????

I'm changing the timing belt but due to the tight area I cannot get the engine mount bracket out. The bolts are 3" long and the only resolution I can see is to remove the engine or drill a hole through the wheel well structure by each bolt. Does anyone have a trick I'm missing.
