The Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class, the versatile new member of the Mercedes sport utility vehicle family, will make its U.S. dealer showroom debut in January 2009 as a 2010 model.

Powered by a 268-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine the 2010MY GLK350 will form the basis of the U.S. lineup, and will be offered in both 4MATIC and two-wheel-drive versions, riding on standard 19-inch 10- spoke wheels with 235/50 tires and striking auto parts. The GLK features a 108.5-inch wheelbase and boasts unique design language which sets it apart from the rest of the highly successful Mercedes-Benz family of SUVs that includes the M-Class (which spurred the trend toward more car-like SUVs), the larger GL-Class, the crossover R-Class and the iconic G- Class.

Subject: 2007 Honda Civic

Finally, I got a new ride after eight years of driving a very old car. But the long wait is all worth it because I got myself a spanking 2007 Honda Civic 7 months ago. I spent a few of my savings for the car's modification. I took away the stock hood and replaced it with a carbon-fiber hood. It looks definitely awesome. I tried to refurbish the interior, but i realized it was too costly, so I think I'll just focus on the outside first. Then I bought a spoiler...I changed the Honda wheels and placed a racing wheels instead. So far, my ride is performing well, all i have to do is maintain it regularly.

Subject: 2006 Grand Cherokee Review

We purchased a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee last week, 4.7L V8 with the 28X package. Leather, 2 wheel drive auto almost everything. We have driven a 97 Grand Cherokee for several years and didn't even look at another make or model. This Jeep has not disappointed us yet. It is totally stock and we have no plans for any upgrades except for trailer hitch. The Grand Cherokee has plenty of power and is very comfortable to drive. Visibility is a little less than in the 97 but has so many Daimler influences that I feel very safe and secure in this vehicle. It has an excellent ride and is extremely quite as it just shuts out the world when the windows are up. The traction control is amazing as it will not let your tires spin on wet pavement though it has the power to burn them off if this system was not present. I think we made the right decision for a new car and look forward to many years in this excellent vehicle.

I just bought a great new product called the AutoGlove and have to share with everyone. I travel a lot and was looking for something to cover my newly painted hood and the AutoGlove is it.

Without sounding like one of their sales guys, it looks like paint once applied but is a special material that stretches to cover the hood and straps on underneath the hood so it can't be stolen. I bought the American Flag design for my blue GMC and it is awesome. I have already had 2 neighbors wanting to know where I got the new paint job and they can't believe that it is material and is removable. When it gets dirty, take it off and throw it in the washer! I hope the company knows I'm giving them all kinds of credit but seriously this is a great new item. It's very soft and doesn't scratch the paint which was the biggest selling point for me. I ordered on the companies website at

Subject: 2005 Hummer H2 Review

Just purchased last year a 2005 Hummer H2 SUV
I originally went to the dealer to purchase the new H3 SUV, test drove that and it had no gonads, if you know what I mean.
It drove well, was quiet but no acceleration.
After driving the H2 I knew that was the one.
I also own a 2002 Chevy Silverado HD with Duramax diesel.
Installed a BullyDog performance chip and 5" exhaust with K&N air filter and holy cow that truck boogies.
I own a 1999 Chevy Tahoe 4X4 with factory police package. It is stock and does OK.
I installed a K&N air filter and Corsa exhaust on the 2005 H2 Hummer.
It increased performance quite a bit but I think that it needs to be Supercharged.

Any ideas from anyone for performance I am listening.
I was a Ford mechanic for 10 years, but devout GM man.

Subject: 2006 Liberty Review

I recently began driving a 2006 Jeep Liberty after spending the last 6 years in a Ford Expedition. To be quite frank, I am a big truck/SUV person and I didn't relish the idea of down sizing in the least. I thought I would basically be driving a car as I climbed in to the Liberty for the first time. However, it quickly became obvious that the Liberty is a small SUV with the heart of a big SUV. It really is the proverbial "best of both worlds", as you can maintain that "truck feel", but it handles MUCH BETTER than the behemoth SUV's. I loved the manueverability provided by the Liberty! It also has nice cargo room and can comfortably seat a family of five. Although, I wouldn't suggest the Liberty if you have two young teens and an elementary aged child who abhor the idea of the close ride with their brothers and sister. (yes, just a personal aside) The third row seat in the larger SUV's does allow for a more peaceful ride! I would absolutely recommend the Jeep Liberty if you are in the market for one of the smaller SUV's. In addition to the great ride, it's pretty darn attractive!
